Pro-AM BB4

This bot is a Battlebots legal (light) super heavy weight and is designed using some of the same components that Flexy-Flyer incorporated, however Pro-AM has an non-articulated chassis and a greater top speed. It has the same lifting arm design powered by a 1000lb force linear actuator, has a hammer driven by an geared motor as well. Pro-Am has much heavier armor than Flexy and foam filled tires. The cow catchers on Pro-AM were painted red and blue to match the chassis colors.

Unfortunately, in making common parts, Pro-AM weighed in at 255lbs giving a 100lb advantage to other bots at Battlebots 4.0. By Battlebots 5.0 it will be as heavy as the rest and have a different weapon system.

Unfortunately, In its first match, Pro-AM ran across another rookie, Swirley, who ripped two motors and wheels out of Pro-AM in the first 15 seconds. Even with taht disadvatage, Pro-AM was able to stop Swirly from spinning and dominated the rest of the match. The Judges saw it different than the stands and we lost in an unpopular 22-23 split decision.
